Colin Star Shark SSR Rims

Another set of nice looking ol skool rims had arrived from japan, packed nicely for the shipment to Malaysia, Its a long wait indeed, takes about 6 weeks but its a worthwhile wait nevertheless.

It has got very nice deep lips, measuring 14" x 6.5JJ and +4 offset for the Front and 14" x 7JJ and -2 offset for the Rear. Its called Colin Star Shark from SSR and its actually red or gold in color at the star spokes but the color have been scrub off by the japanese, for dun know what ever reason. Too bad its not mine either, Its goin into my friend's KE70 later.



With the Potenza Rims being installed on the car it has the JDM look, with the arches nicely covering the deep dish rims.

Wangan Midnight Anime

After the Initial-D anime now comes a new anime from Japan about "wangan" racing which literally means highway racing in Japan, It revolves around a cult car called the Datsun Z-Fairlady 240Z S30. Its about a high school student Akio Asakura loses a high speed race to Tatsuya Shima, he goes to a junkyard to find parts for his car - only to discover a blue first-generation Datsun Fairlady Z (S30), which he buys. Akio later discovers that not only is the Z tuned to 620 bhp, it's had a dark history of unfortunate accidents with its previous owners. Behind the wheel of the Devil Z, Akio now poses a threat to Shima and his "Blackbird" Porsche 911 Turbo.

Revolver Driving Club KE70 Drift Spec

The front view of the menacing KE70

This KE70 belongs to my buddy, Andrew and is fresh from the oven baked with a new beige white with a black hood to resemble Japanese Domestic Market ol skool car. This car is extensively modified from the heart to the body with some JDM goodies thrown in for good measures.

The old faithful 4K engine has been thrown out of service and was replace with a more healthy and younger AE111 engine with AE86 running gears. The intake manifold cover was dispose and its running with open pod 4 throttle intake for a more powerful and fierce noise. The transmission is standard AE86 (4age 16V) with a stock LSD differential for the occasional drift encounters.

Look at the wide fender and also the deep offset P-1 rims with "Gundam Lips"

The interior is running on AE86 dashboard for the "vow" factor and a clone recaro SPG bucket seat and strap with 4-point sabelt to hold the driver into position when the G-forces get to high. Nardi Steering and TRD knob replaces the stock standard uncle looking thin steering and knob. To hold the aging chassis a set of AE86 half cage was installed with the rear seat being removed to save some micro weights.

As for the exterior the arches was flare to accommodate the wide deep offset Buddyclub P-1 rims measuring a width of 8JJ x 15 with a offset of +12. To get the wide body look a pair of 25mm spacer was fitted as well. Road holding improvements are being wrapped with Yokohama AD07 tires with HWL coil overs for the improve handling plus a pair of RCA for that off-camber look.
