Ae86 brakes on the ke70

Running the Ae86 brakes set up on the Ke70.
Due to the rusty n long storage of the brakes from the harsh weather found out that the brake calipers are jam. Had to open up the piston and serviced the caliper with repair kit. Found out that the piston were badly rusted and pitted. Had to get new piston from Japan.

Old piston badly scorched from harsh weather throughout the years.

Trd sway bars installed

Decided to swap the original ke70 front sway bar with the trd sway bar from the Ae86 due to the Ke70 bar is touching the ac compressor pulley.
This causes the belt to rub against the bar. Not a good idea in the long run.

Getting swapped.

Added the rear trd sway bar. Original comes without sway bar.

Front 24mm vs 21mm std.
Rear 16mm.
Had this from my previous Te71 (7yrs ago)

Steel braided hose

Due to the original rubber hoses cracked an twisted decided to upgrade to steel braided
hoses from frp.
