Found this AA63 Carina in jdmoption can't resist to post in this blog cause it looks periodically correct with the Hashino Racing Wheels and fender mirror finish off with a nice ride height.
Is it taken somewhere in the land of rising sun? Filling gas before the next uphill touge perhaps.

Found some really crazy bunch of japs drifting in the older platform from the AE86, the #E7# but using the sweet revving 4AGEs. Enjoy the vids.

Sepang Drag Battle Rd. 3 2009
The Sepang Drag battle is one of the more popular events for all the drag maniacs out there. After a long time of not attending these event I decided to go to these event last week to look at all the gorgeous and powerful drag machines. Some of these cars are so radically modified that they are not allow to be on the malaysian streets.
One of the fun thing attending these events are the sheer number of modified cars that are park at the bays. You can check out that these cars are also tastefully modded like this EG civic.
People gathering at the paddocks to check out the fast rides.
Spotted an Ol Skool KP61 resting, Its running on 4AGE 16V with carbs which is not set properly yet. Maybe we can see it performing in the next event yet.
Modified wira powering to the finishing line
an 11sec pass from a modified drag spec satria (mitsubishi colt)
A nicely done up EF CRX which can be considered as an OL Skool too. Matching tangerine orange from all their members too.
View from the Granstand lookin at the docks.
Wow a hachi spotted in the parking bay. hehehe.
Left around 1am. cause was to sleepy to carry on. but the event is still not over yet. huhuhu...

The Crave for Old Skool Wheels
Part of playing old skool ride is because of the various types of deep offset rims you'll be able to mount onto your ride to turn it from an old man's ride to a low stance with wide fenders beast. You'll be surprise that the visual effect of these wheels that will bring to your old grandpa's ride. This brings us to the collection of rims throughout the years that I've been collecting and also I've sold. The prices of these rims also makes it quite unaffordable these days. The prices of these wheels have been skyrocketing like pump gases since I bought my first set of offset wheels.
My first pair of drift rims SSR Long Champ XR4 14X6JJ offset (+20), bought it for dirt cheap since the tyre shop doesn't know the popularity of these wheels.
These is another set of Techno Racing Rims measuring (14x6.5JJ +12:F, 14X7.5JJ -6:R)
for drift purpose.
My ultimate set of wheels SSR Reverse Mesh (15X7.5JJ -3:F, 15X8.5JJ -5:R) for my daily use, too bad it was stolen together with the car.
Another pair of SSR Reverse Mesh I loaned from my buddy and was sold (15X7JJ -1)
My dream wheel is none other than the Racing Service Wattanabe but seriously in need of some deep aggresive dishes to finish it off. Only 1 pair (15X7JJ +11). Ive bought a set of hayashi streets but did not snap photos of it yet. Its kinda of deep also.

My Ex-Carina
Found from my hard drive that I got a couple of shots of my ex-carina when I was using the car. From drifting to daily driven. Think its time for me to show some pics of the car when I was using it to the fullest potential.
This is a shot back in 2005 when I participated in a Drift event in Dato Sagor Circuit. It was a lot of fun and was still very lousy in drifting. Seems like I "under" a lot while the others drifted with ease as can be seen on the cars behind me.
Another beat-up KE70 corolla behind me which was very furious and powerful I would said.
This is the last corner in Dato Sagor, seems like I could drift this corner rather well in the pictures. Its rather satisfying indeed.
And the final picture I was going full throttle. What an enjoyable experience, really was fun and satisfying to be able to drive and drift in that rather serene and quiet track as you can see at the back drop there is a river just beside the track. Its located in the nothern region of Perak.
