The Start of My Never Ending Journey of Modding

Finally after a long wait, I'm able to start my 71 project. Actually, after getting this car, really found out that I've got a lot of work to do on this car compare to my previous car, so means that I've no option but to jump into the bandwagon and do a proper rebuild and not to cut corners so that I'll be able to enjoy the car without much problem after this. My intention was to source for a front cut from a beloved hachiroku and transplant whatever inside the front cut into my car so that all the wiring and electrical stuff will have no glitches and able to perform flawlessly. Since the 16V is much easier to put into the E7 engine bay and driveablity and torque doesn't sucks like the 20V, I've made up my mind to source for the Hachi since most of the parts can be transfer to the E7 chassis.
I've been searching high and low for a few months and with many being to pricey for a stock standard unit or doesn't really fill the criteria I'm looking for until one day I received a call from my mechanic telling me that he found out one front cut hachi with a lot of modded parts with a reasonable price. So I went there and found these:-

After a close scrutinizing of all the performance stuff that comes with this cut, without much hesitation I paid a deposit to take this home. My only concern will be the condition of the engine cause mostly modded engine in Japan r living a tough life being torture by their ex-owner relentlessly. Nevertheless I kept my finger cross that everything will be fine.

Wipers are worn, battery and tyres are flat, cob webs are literally building up. Signs of car not moving for a long time. The time has come for me to move this car of mine from its nest to my trusty mechanic. Anyway with a few cranks I'm able to start this little dragon and move it to my mech's workshop for the long awaited botox treatment it has been lagging off.

Will be stuck here for a couple of months ???

Till then.......
